There have been cases where PPM projects, sponsored and non-sponsored, are showing multiple values for project budgets, total cost (expenditures) and commitments depending on which Aggie Enterprise screen you are viewing. Very few projects have been found to have this issue. In these cases, fields that attempt to summarize totals are incorrect; however, overall Aggie Enterprise project data is accurate.
Please submit a ticket to the Aggie Enterprise Help Desk if you find a project showing one of these discrepancies. The Aggie Enterprise team can run a process to recalculate the summarized values for the project.
Admit IT is actively investigating the case and it is being reviewed by Oracle support. A process that will allow a proactive check of projects for this issue is in the works.
How do I know if my project is experiencing this issue and which value is correct?
The following fields can be checked if you suspect this issue is present in your project.
Checking for Project Budget Values
If the Current Baseline budget and EAC budget cost values differ, the issue may be present. In these cases, the Current Baseline value is correct.
Manage Budget Versions Screen – Current Baseline field
This value is correct when issue is present.

This value may not match baseline budget if issue is present.

Checking for Commitment Values
If the Burdened Cost in Transaction Currency value and the Commitment Amount in the overview screen do not match, the issue may be present. In these cases, the total amount in Managed Committed Costs screen, Burdened Cost in Transaction History column is correct.

Checking for Expenditure Values
If the total amount of the Burdened Cost in Receiver Ledger Currency column and the Actual Amount in the Award Overview screen for the project do not match, the issue may be present. In these cases, the total Burdened Cost in Receiver Ledger Currency field is correct.
Manage Project Costs – Total of Burdened Cost in Receiver Ledger Currency Column
This value can be found by exporting project information from the Manage Project Costs screen and finding the sum of all values in the Burdened Cost in Receiver Ledger Currency column.
This total value is correct when this issue is present.
