Oracle ERP Quarterly Releases

Oracle ERP releases quarterly updates to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and ensure compliance with the latest standards. These mandated updates may include new features, performance improvements, security enhancements, and bug fixes. Stay informed on upcoming release notes and scheduled deployment dates to take full advantage of the latest advancements in Oracle ERP. Teams will review and assess each update’s impacts to the Aggie Enterprise Finance, Supply Chain and Project Portfolio Management modules.

Quarterly Release Dates

Quarterly releases are scheduled on the third Friday of the following months: March, June, September, and December. Release dates for 2026 are March 20, June 19, September 18, and December 18.

Integrations

• Friday (Release Day) at 5 p.m.: On the day of each quarterly release, integrations of Oracle (Aggie Enterprise) will be paused at 5 p.m. While Boundary Systems can still send interfaces, files, or web service calls, these will be queued until the system is back online. Note: There will be no changes to file naming conventions during release.
• Sunday at noon: Integrations will be restored, and services will be back online at noon on the Sunday following the release.
• Notifications will be sent before the quarterly release to inform you about the scheduled downtime, and then again once the system is back online.

  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	You can now view details of the items in your shopping cart. To view the details, click the item in the Description column. While viewing the item details, you can click the forward or backward button to view details of the next or previous item in the cart without having to return to the previous screen.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The shopping cart page has a new Billing icon in the list view that allows you to directly access line, distribution, and delivery details for viewing and editing. In the table view, choose Actions, and then click the command for editing the delivery and billing information. You have the option of saving as you edit. Alternatively, the information will be automatically saved when you leave the page.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The search filters on the Self-Service Procurement and My Requisitions screens have been enhanced to permit multiple category selections, multiple selections within a category, and multiple requester selections (My Requisitions screen only). The search result count is displayed for each filter selection.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	A Notes and Attachments icon is now displayed on the shopping cart page to indicate if a line item has associated notes or attachments.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The Description and Justification fields have been added to the main cart checkout screen on the Requisition, so that you can enter or edit the information directly on the page, without having to click to enter the information on the separate Requisition Summary page.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	While viewing a line item on the shopping cart page, you can click the supplier name (in the Source column) to view details about the supplier, including supplier number, site address, and contact information.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	Fixed Price Based Requisition and QTY Based Requisition now permit $0 values to support products or services that are free of charge, such as warranties or bundled offers.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	Bug fixes: Error message clarifications, removal of unnecessary error messages that caused confusion, and allowing optional expenditure type when editing multiple lines for non-catalog requisitions.

  PPM	Tasks	When adding project tasks, you now have the option of adding and modifying attachments in the View Project Plan Details dialog box.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	In addition to the Requisition workflow status, the Requisitions Document History page now displays details (instead of high-level steps) of the Purchase Order (PO) approval status. To view the approval routing details of requisitions that have the Order Processing status, click Submission for PO approval on the Document History page.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	On the Requisition Details page, you can use the new Check Funds command to run budgetary control validation. The results page shows which expenditures passed validation and the budget impact of those that failed the check.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The Funds check results view now shows three new columns that provide budget details: Requested, Consumed, and Available. You can use the information to avoid overspending.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The new View Document History command on the Requisitions page allows you to view draft requisitions. You can review the drafts for requisition reassignments before completing submissions.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	When viewing SCM Store shopping search results, you can now sort the results list by Description.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	Chart of account (COA) segment descriptions are now available on the following pages: Shopping Cart (Summary section), Shopping Cart Lines, Requisition Details (More Information section), and Requisition Details. To view the COA segment descriptions, hover over the Charge To fields.
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	On the Shopping Cart and Requisition Details page, the More Information section is now expanded by default so that you can quickly view the details at a glance.

   

• 25D scheduled for release December 19, 2025

  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	The Procurement Shopping cart page has a new column labeled Charge To that displays chart strings, showing accounts being charged for the items in the cart. (Available 2/20/26.)
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	On the Requisition Details page, line numbers are moved from the Quantity column to the first column so that you can easily locate and identify items on the page. (Available 1/29/26.)
  Procurement (Supply Chain)	Self-Service Procurement	On the My Requisition page, the new Order Processing status will display if your requisition has been fully approved and the corresponding PO has been created, but the requisition is still pending approval by the central procurement buyer.

  PPM, Schedule Processes, and other modules that display date and time	Default date and time in various modules	Preferred Time Zone setting specified in General Preferences (Regional) is used as default throughout the Aggie Enterprise application.
  Contract Management	Search results table on the Contracts page	New Owner column is added to the Contracts Search results table. You can show, hide, and resize the column. To view contracts that have more than one owner, hover your pointer on the Owner cell or use the wrap feature to view all owners.

• 25A will release in the production environment at 7:00 p.m. PST on Friday, March 21, 2025. The system is expected to be offline starting at 7:00 pm on Friday, with anticipated restoration by Monday, March 24 at 8:00 a.m.

• 24D scheduled for release December 20, 2024
• 24D will release in the production environment at 7:00 p.m. PST on Friday, December 20, 2024. The system is expected to be offline starting at 7:00 pm on Friday, with anticipated restoration by Monday, December 23 at 8:00 a.m.
   
  • Changes to end-user functionality are not expected with this release.
  • The 24D release changes the number of items listed in the bpm worklist by default. For more information, please see known issue BPM Worklist Window Only Displays 5 Lines After 24D Update.

• 24C will release in the production environment at 10:00 p.m. PST on Friday, September 20, 2024. The system is expected to be offline starting at 10:00 pm on Friday, with anticipated restoration by Sunday, September 22 at 8:00 a.m.

  Grants Management	Project Search and Balances Reporting Enhancements in Award Overview	The updated Award Overview screen will make it easier for users to navigate and find award projects. Users can search for specific projects and apply filters to streamline their views of project and budget balances. Grant administrators and principal investigators will be able to quickly locate specific projects and view summaries and detailed information on project balances and budgetary control balances.
  Billing and Revenue Management	Create Supplier Contacts from Contract	You can now create supplier contacts directly in the Parties tab while authoring a contract, speeding up the contract creation process. The Create Contact button is available for supplier and third-party roles in procurement contracts. Additionally, Cash Management can create or update contacts during contract creation or updating, facilitating the updating of sponsor contact data.
