RAM: Simplifying Access Management for Aggie Enterprise and Beyond
Roles Access Management (RAM) is a new application, expected to release in Q2 2025, that will allow users to directly request Aggie Enterprise job roles via a self-service portal. RAM will handle all aspects of access requests, including automatic routing to the appropriate security liaisons for approval. RAM will replace the current manual process for requesting and processing Aggie Enterprise access requests.
In addition to streamlining the process for provisioning access and improving user experience, RAM provides administrators real-time audit tools and compliance monitoring. The Enterprise Systems Support, Risk and Controls, and Service Delivery teams will be able to monitor role assignments, identify potential security risks, and ensure compliance with access policies. The system will provide automated reporting, dashboards, and historical tracking to help these teams proactively manage security, enforce access governance, and streamline issue resolution.
RAM will support access management for Aggie Enterprise at launch, with plans for expanding role management to additional systems in the future. Expect more updates about this new tool over the coming months
Expected to release Q2 2025*.
