2023 June Final Carryforward balances for PCRD (P Card) and TCRD (Travel Card) object codes were converted as carryforward into the net position natural account 300001. In Aggie Enterprise, PCRD and TCRD activity are now clearing through liability natural account 238590 (Travel Card) and 238591 (P Card). Corrections are being posted to move balances from the income statement to the liability natural accounts that are now used. To complete this, the finance team is using expense natural account 5xxxxx which will roll to the net position balance at year end.
Please note that all balances for July through December of 2023 were correctly converted to the liability natural account. This correction is only being done for the carryforward balances.
Any activity before 2023 fiscal year that was also PCRD and TCRD is not captured in this posting. Departments will need to review attached KFS accounts and determine whether any additional journals are needed to move balances that were moved as net position but should be liability in Aggie Enterprise.
