PPM Introductory Training Updated Based on User Feedback

Based on user feedback, the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) eLearning curriculum has been streamlined to better meet the needs of staff new to PPM. The curriculum has been condensed from six courses to three, and the number of prerequisites for the instructor-led PPM course has been reduced from four to one.

What’s Changed

The revised eLearning curriculum includes three courses:

• PPM101: Introduction to Aggie Enterprise Project Portfolio Management
• PPM102: Navigating Aggie Enterprise PPM Projects
• PPM103: Viewing PPM Costs and Running Reports

These courses are designed for staff who are new to managing PPM projects. They cover the basic tasks involved in administering a project and explain how their work flows into the General Ledger and reporting.

PPM Instructor-Led Training

The instructor-led course, PPM201: Non-Sponsored Project Creation and Management, has not changed, but it now requires only one eLearning prerequisite instead of four. This two-hour course reinforces the concepts introduced in the prerequisite eLearning course and guides learners through hands-on exercises using student projects in the Aggie Enterprise training environment.
