Capital Equipment Webinar Series Begins August 10
The UC Davis Finance and Business Inventory Management team is excited to announce the Capital Equipment Webinar Series designed to help UC Davis staff successfully purchase, manage, and retire capital assets and successfully navigate the biennial equipment certification. The concepts and processes taught in these webinars are meant to help departments speed up acquisition of new capital equipment, successfully navigate the biennial equipment certification, and avoid time consuming audit findings.
The series includes three sessions:
Managing Equipment – The first session focuses on managing capital assets in Aggie Enterprise and Aggie EQ and preparing departments for their upcoming biennial equipment certification. Participants will learn how to determine when their certification is due and complete and submit the required certification forms.
Purchasing Capital Equipment – The second session explores the capital equipment purchasing process, helping departments reduce administrative delays when purchasing capital equipment.
Retiring Capital Equipment – The final session covers the proper procedures for retiring capital equipment, including the processes and documentation required to remove assets from the university’s inventory.
