Tips to Prepare for Aggie Enterprise Go-Live

As the UC Davis finance, planning and business operations community gears up for Aggie Enterprise go-live, it is important for individual users to be prepared with the resources and support needed to be successful in the new system.

Here are three tips to help users prepare for day one in Aggie Enterprise:

1. Refer to the Go-Live Checklist

Users will gain access to Aggie Enterprise on Jan. 4, 2024. To make the first day in the new system a little easier, the Change, Communications and Training team has created a checklist for how to log in and take essentials steps on day one. View the Go-Live Checklist in the Knowledge Base; information will be updated as we approach the go-live date.

Please note: Aggie Enterprise Planning, the AggieBudget replacement, has a different timeline. A later communication will be sent to welcome users to Aggie Enterprise Planning.

2. Take Advantage of Training Resources

All Aggie Enterprise users — both daily transactors and occasional visitors — should have an awareness of the new Aggie Enterprise system, Chart of Accounts, and related changes to business processes. To determine which training resources are most relevant to your job, review the User Role to Training Matrix, you will need to know your assigned job role(s) in Aggie Enterprise. If you are unsure of the role(s) you have been assigned, contact your unit’s security liaison. Learn more about roles and security liaisons.

Explore the range of training videos, self-paced learning, job aids and Knowledge Base articles on each of the module webpages. Access training resources.

3. Reach Out for Support

As users begin transacting in the new system, there may be a need for support. Remember, you’re not alone! The Aggie Enterprise team has created a network of support resources, including Super Users and members of the Change Network, as well as subject matter expert support through office hours, and a dedicated help desk. Download the Go-Live Support Resources Guide.

Users' familiarity and comfort with Aggie Enterprise are crucial for its successful implementation. We encourage all users who will interact with the system to make the most of these resources.
