PaymentWorks will be a new supplier portal for streamlining the supplier onboarding process. Implementation is scheduled for March 2025.  This new platform will replace the current vendor add process completed in Aggie Enterprise. Suppliers will onboard with PaymentWorks, and then the vendor data will be transmitted to Aggie Enterprise.

The process of documenting and requesting payment for unauthorized purchases is changing as of Friday, January 17, 2025.  You can also join us at our next Hot Topics session on 2/11/25 to learn more.

A new payment solution, Candex, is coming to UC Davis later this year.  This new solution will streamline payment to individuals for specific types of one-time payments, specifically research participants and honoraria.  

These payments will be requested via the Aggie Enterprise Requisition document, utilizing a catalog option. 

To streamline the Revenue Agreement process,  improvements based on feedback from Aggie Enterprise stakeholders – including department and central office users – will be implemented starting Monday, December 9, 2024, at 8 a.m.

What's Changing:

It’s important for departments to approve any Aggie Enterprise Accounts Payable invoices that route for approval (PPM Project Manager, Fiscal Officer, Principal Investigator) in a timely manner, within 5 business days.  This ensures that the payments comply with the terms established for the respective supplier(s).  An automated email notification is sent each time an Aggie Enterprise approval is required by the recipient, but we also have a new guide that highlights the screens in Aggie Enterprise that can help employe

There are several Purchasing and Accounts Payable reports in Aggie Enterprise that can help you track your ongoing Purchase Order (PO) spend by category, identify any open POs that may need to be manually closed due to inactivity, and view transaction activity on a Requisition, as well as on any associated POs. When onboarding a new employee in your department who will have purchasing responsibilities as part of their job, be sure to provide the necessary context for how your specific departmental purchasing works.  Doing this before they complete any training or start using Aggie Enterprise will make their learning process much more effective and efficient.  Each department has its own business processes, and it’s critical for new employees to thoroughly understand these processes. Some of the items you should review with your new employee:
